  Obituaries - Mar. 20, 2008 SHANTZ, Marjorie June Doreen (1925-2008) - From her birth in rural Clavering to William and Martha Lisk, through more than 50 years of marriage and life in Reidsville, to her life of leisure in Eden Mills, Miss Kitty, remained spirited and smiling to the end. Predeceased by her husband, Irvine Shantz and by two children, Gloria Ulrich and Ken Shantz. She is now sorely missed by daughter, Joy Roberts and her husband Douglas McMullen; son, Larry Shantz; his three sons and their wives, Jeremy Shantz and Bridget Hinnegan, Jonathan and Danielle Shantz, and Jeffrey Shantz and Kim Wideman; as well as by Joseph and Shannon Ulrich and Michael Ulrich of Kentucky. She was proud to have six great-grandchildren. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the rare Environmental Research Reserve in Blair or to the Alzheimer Program at Sunnyside Home in Kitchener. A memorial Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home , 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr.
